Double-wall HDPE

ZZM double-wall HDPE storage sheds

  • 7 sizes
  • 10 to 437 cubic feet
  • $168.20 and up

HDPE here means a double-wall panel: two skins with a gap, which is why these boxes stay stiff at six feet of width where a single skin would flex. Every one of them ships with a floor, and the taller ones are vented at the eaves so the inside is not a sealed box in July.

What to check on this one

The jump in this group is not gradual. A 10 cubic foot doorstep box and a 57 cubic foot cabinet are the same wall in two sizes, and then the walk-ins start, where the footprint is quoted in feet because the volume has stopped meaning anything. If you are between two of them, the deciding number is the door opening rather than the capacity.

Measurements here are outside measurements, so take an inch and a half off each side before you decide. ZZM standards put the ground before the volume.

Questions

Questions about ZZM double-wall hdpe storage sheds

How long does a ZZM shed take you to put together?
The mid-size resin boxes come out at about two hours for one person with an electric screwdriver, which is the figure the assembly notes give. The walk-ins are a two-person job: the wall panels are six feet and awkward rather than heavy.
Will a ZZM shed take your lawn mower?
It depends on the door opening, not the cubic feet. Front-door sizes take a push mower with the handle folded; a lift-up lid will not. Measure your deck width, usually about 22 inches, and check it against the opening on the page.
Can you store fuel or a propane cylinder in a ZZM shed?
Treat it as no. Gasoline and diesel are ignitible liquids with their own national rules about approved containers and quantities, and propane has a separate limit again. Tools, furniture, bins and lawn chemicals in their original labelled containers are what a box like this is for: and the chemicals want to be away from the mower rather than beside it.
